ADA Policy

It is the policy of the Company to abide by all provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as amended by the ADA Amendments Act of 2008. We will not discriminate against any qualified individual with a disability because of that disability, in any aspect of employment, including hiring, advancement, discharge, compensation, training, or other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.

A qualified individual is one who, with or without reasonable accommodation, can perform the essential functions of the position held or desired. The Company will provide reasonable accommodation to qualified individuals with disabilities, identified through an interactive process with the employee, unless doing so would impose an undue hardship on the operation of the Company’s business. Employees who believe they need a reasonable accommodation should contact the Human Resources Department.

General information, not legal advice. Treat this as a drafting starting point, not a finished policy — employment law varies by jurisdiction and changes often, so have a licensed attorney tailor it to your situation before you rely on it.
