Continuing Education Policy
Employees who have a minimum of three years service will be entitled to attend a seminar once a year on a subject within the scope of their employment duties. This is intended to demonstrate the Company’s intent in keeping our employees knowledgeable and up to date on current trends. The company reserves the right to mandate employees to attend such training if the Company finds an applicable program that would benefit multiple employees or departments.
Employees will each have a budget of up to $300 to use for this purpose. No spouses are allowed to travel during these events unless approved in advance. The course/ seminar must also be approved before any reservation is made.
General information, not legal advice. Treat this as a drafting starting point, not a finished policy — employment law varies by jurisdiction and changes often, so have a licensed attorney tailor it to your situation before you rely on it.
