Criminal History Record Check

The Company may conduct a criminal background check upon hire (following a conditional offer of employment, consistent with applicable ban-the-box/fair-chance hiring laws) or for cause, to identify candidates or current employees whose criminal history may pose a risk of harm to themselves, co-workers, or our customers. Consistent with EEOC guidance under Title VII, the existence of a criminal record does not automatically disqualify a candidate or employee; the Company will conduct an individualized assessment considering the nature and gravity of the offense, the time that has passed, and its relevance to the specific position before making any adverse employment decision. In addition, some customers with Federal contracts require that no person convicted of a felony or certain misdemeanors may be employed on the project. In such cases, the employee’s assignment may be limited or ended as required by the contract, and failure to disclose required information may separately result in discipline up to and including termination.
