Reasonable Accommodation Policy

We understand the need for disabled and handicapped individuals to achieve independence through their work and contribution to society. In supporting the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Company will make reasonable accommodations for those individuals who qualify for and request an accommodation, whether the request is made verbally or in writing, by the individual or through their spokesperson. A request does not need to be in writing or use any special words, but the Company may ask the requesting employee to confirm the request and provide reasonable supporting documentation where the need for accommodation is not obvious. Our facility has been updated to meet building code requirements for the handicapped and disabled. Other facility and workplace accommodations will also be made if feasible on an as needed basis.

Once an accommodation is requested, the Company and the employee will engage in an interactive process -- a good-faith, informal discussion to clarify what the employee needs and identify an effective accommodation. The Company will respond and act on requests as promptly as possible. An accommodation will not be provided if it would impose an undue hardship, meaning significant difficulty or expense in light of factors such as the nature and cost of the accommodation and the Company's size, resources, and operations.

In addition, work loads for individuals with handicaps and disabilities may be adjusted accordingly. Particular tasks with time limits or requiring specific motor/movement control will also be evaluated to determine an acceptable level of work performance in terms of each individual’s abilities.
